One of them probably just served you in a check-out line, seated you in a restaurant or served you food. Their chains are alcohol, drugs, abuse, broken dreams, rejection, money, lust…Well, you get the point.
Plan A is for supernatural, for ordinary people like you and me to: (1) wholeheartedly believe in the victory of Calvary—to be convinced that it was complete and final and (2) to rise up in our role as sent ones, ambassadors, authorized representatives of the Victor. Our challenge is not so much to liberate as to believe in the Liberator; to heal as to believe in the Healer.

We were terrified and now hopelessly lost when a second eruption of Mount St. Helens shook the ground at 2am. The atmosphere was charged with electricity, with 5-mile long sheets of lightning reflecting off the ash cloud and creating brilliant colors of pink orange and blue. It was deathly quiet but the blast rocketed over our heads to be heard by people 200 miles away. As hot ash fell on us and it became increasing difficult to breathe, I prayed, God help me breathe and it started to rain. The rain mixed in with the hot ash and it felt like hot mud falling from the sky, but it actually helped clear the air so we could breathe.

Cold, hungry, and injured, we had become part of the story that we had gone in to document. Unknown to us, we had been declared missing and presumed dead. Morale plummeted as the possibility of rescue diminished.

Doctors kept me at the hospital for 8 hours, taking all sorts of tests and x-rays, certain that I must have something wrong after totaling a car so dramatically. The Purpose of the Testimony

The power of speaking out the testimony of God’s works creates an atmosphere of faith that expands your world that you influence. It shapes your prayer life, how you see God and what you declare, so that you look at impossibilities from the victorious perspective of heaven. When you read these stories, you will meet the Jesus who heals; who calls forth people into their destinies; and who demonstrates his love and power through encounter. 

Each story invites the reader into a lifestyle of encountering the same God as those who tell their stories on these pages. As we become keepers of our own testimony, we make our experience available for others. They are your inheritance to receive as prophetic promises for God to do it again in your own life, with your family, with your friends, within your city.

Revelation 12:11 states that they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and the power of the testimony. The blood of the Lamb is what bought the victory. The word of the testimony releases the power. The power is released when you declare it. The person with the experience is never at the mercy of the person with the argument.

This book is about people who have had profound experiences with the power of God. By reading these stories, the same grace and anointing they have received will be released on your life.
